Broadstone has appointed Paul Noone (pictured) as head of operations, with Noone returning after nearly six years at Broadstone between 2013 and 2019.

Noone will lead operational improvements and enhance administration capability for pension schemes preparing for transactions including buy-ins, buy outs and long-term run-off strategies.

He will work with trustees, sponsors and insurers to ensure schemes are ready for transaction, with member experience, data quality and delivery certainty central throughout.

Noone said: “I’m delighted to be back at Broadstone at such a pivotal time for the pensions market. Broadstone has built a reputation for administration excellence and I’m excited to help further strengthen our capabilities to guide clients through increasingly complex and high-value journeys.

“Demand for high-quality administration support around endgame activity is growing rapidly as many schemes look to execute successfully and affordably in a highly competitive insurance market to secure their members’ benefits for the long-term.”

Nigel Jones, head of pensions advisory and administration at Broadstone, said: “Paul’s appointment is a clear demonstration of our continued investment in and commitment to pensions administration as a core strategic capability.

“Paul brings deep experience across administration, transformation and endgame activity and his leadership will be critical as we support clients before, throughout and beyond the transaction process.”
