Workday has announced EU-based data residency in Frankfurt and multilingual support for its Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, offering European organisations an AI-driven contract management solution designed to meet regional data requirements.
The enterprise software company said the update enables legal and business teams to analyse contracts and manage agreements while remaining compliant with EU data regulations.
Powered by Evisort AI, the platform includes tools such as the Contract Intelligence Agent and Contract Negotiation Agent to automate analysis, negotiation and risk assessment processes.
The Frankfurt data residency option is intended to address data sovereignty concerns among European organisations adopting AI systems, while new language support – including German, French and Spanish – aims to broaden accessibility across the region.
Workday said the platform can help organisations identify risks and opportunities within contract portfolios, streamline negotiations through automated review and drafting, and extract data from complex agreements for use across functions including procurement, HR and finance.
The CLM solution is available to organisations seeking to centralise contract data and integrate legal processes with broader enterprise systems on a single artificial intelligence (AI) platform.
Aine Lyons, senior vice president and deputy general counsel, Workday, said: “As organisations look to scale their use of AI, they need a partner that combines innovation with a steadfast commitment to data sovereignty.
“By expanding our data residency offering in Frankfurt and introducing a localised user experience with expanded language support, we are empowering customers to fully leverage the power of Workday CLM to surface insights, accelerate deal velocity, and streamline workflows for their business.”
