TransUnion UK employees have raised £40,000 in total for Andy’s Man Club over a two-year fundraising effort.

Funds were raised through events including charity walks in the Yorkshire Three Peaks and Peak District, football and netball tournaments, the JPMorganChase corporate challenge and cake sales.

TransUnion also ran sessions for staff to learn about Andy’s Man Club and mental health support.

Employees use three volunteering days a year to support charity work and took part in individual challenges such as the Great North Run.

Luke Ambler, co-founder of Andy’s Man Club, said: “Death by suicide is the biggest killer of men under 54 in the UK, with male mental health surrounded by deeply ingrained cultural stigma.

“As Andy’s family, we had no idea of his mental health struggles, and we wanted to help other men who may feel that they have nobody to talk to, or they don’t know where to get the right kind of support.

“We’ve built a network across the country, and we’re looking forward to expanding it to help even more men in the future.”

Kaushik Gopalan, chief HR officer at TransUnion UK, said: “At TransUnion, giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s part of how we create lasting social value.

“Community initiatives like this deepen our local partnerships and help us make a positive and measurable difference.

“We encourage all our colleagues to champion the charities and causes they care about, because together we drive real impact.”

Gopalan added: “We are proud that so many of our UK colleagues have come together to support a charity that is close to many of our hearts.

“Andy’s Man Club is an incredible organisation with an important cause to destigmatise the conversations around men’s mental health and wellbeing.

“At TransUnion we believe that mental health is a fundamental part of overall well-being, we will continue encouraging education, normalising conversation and building awareness for mental health and wellness in the workplace.”
