Pod partnered with SalSac to bring fully funded home charging into its salary sacrifice proposition for its network of more than 280 employers in the UK, reaching an estimated pool of 25,000 employees.

Employees can include a Pod Point Solo 3S home charger and standard installation within their salary sacrifice arrangement, spreading the cost across the vehicle lease term.

There is no upfront payment when getting a home EV charger through SalSac and Pod.

The option to get a home EV charger is now live for SalSac customers, and their employees can choose between a tethered and untethered charger, with no difference in cost.

Richard Quilter, sales director at SalSac, said: “We’re proud to be partnering with Pod to further strengthen our EV salary sacrifice offering.

“Pod has an excellent reputation for quality and reliability, and we look forward to working closely together to deliver a seamless, five-star service experience for employees from installation through to ongoing support.”

Val Geary, VP of partnerships at Pod, added: “Salary sacrifice is emerging as one of the most compelling ways to get both an EV and a charging solution, and so we’re delighted to partner with one of the leading providers in SalSac.

“Home charging is central to the EV experience, and as one of the longstanding leaders in the market, we’re bringing Pod’s trust and expertise to SalSac’s customer base to support them through the switch to electric mobility.”
