Mattioli Woods has opened applications for its Financial Adviser Academy, aimed at people looking to switch careers.
The scheme offers a paid position from the start, one-to-one mentoring with senior advisers, direct client experience and fully-funded qualifications.
The firm takes on around 30 people each year, focusing on those with at least three years in a client-facing role and an interest in a long-term career in financial planning.
Applicants do not need to come from financial services.
The current intake is recruiting for roles in Leicester, Stockport and Belfast.
The 21-month programme is split into four terms.
The first term lasts three and a half months and covers the basics, including RO2-RO5.
The second term takes two and a half months and covers RO6 and company-specific training.
The third term, lasting six months, involves working alongside a senior adviser while taking on more responsibility.
Those who pass internal assessments move into the adviser role.
The fourth term is nine months of early career support, with ongoing coaching and regular reviews.
Raila Bawani, senior talent and resource partner at Mattioli Woods, said: “We recognise that it takes time, confidence and trust to commit to a new career path.
“The Mattioli Woods Financial Adviser Academy has been designed to ensure participants feel truly supported throughout their training journey and beyond – with a comprehensive benefits package, supporting both wellbeing and long-term security.
“This allows them to focus on settling into, and excelling in, their new role.”
