Citipost Mail has achieved Platinum accreditation from Investors in People (IiP), following a strong assessor review.
The company, based in Derbyshire, was recognised for scoring high across all nine IiP indicators, building on its previous Gold rating.
The assessment found Citipost Mail to be a high-performing organisation, with strategy and culture aligned to its business aims.
Employees were described as a cohesive team, focused on customers and committed to the company’s growth.
The assessor report highlighted strengths around leadership, trust, direction and empowerment.
It found that people felt genuinely invested in and supported to develop. Internal progression and leadership development were flagged as key themes.
Additionally, the company was found to actively identify, train and promote talent from within, with structured training, mentoring and regular reviews.
Lesley Yeomans joined Citipost Mail in 2011 as head of client experience and has since become deputy managing director.
During her time, Yeomans has helped shift the company towards a customer-focused approach and played a part in employee engagement and strategic growth.
Her progression to executive leadership was noted as an example of the company’s approach to developing talent.
Yeomans said: “This Platinum accreditation is a powerful endorsement of the culture our people have built together.
“Our philosophy has always been to invest in our people, and give them the trust, support, and opportunities to grow.
“The assessor feedback confirms that this approach is embedded across the business, and I’m incredibly proud of what our team continues to achieve.”
