Avilio has partnered with Aberystwyth University to deliver professional training for university staff.

The programme is aimed at helping staff improve efficiency and well-being as part of Aberystwyth University’s new Strategy 2030s and transformation programme.

Avilio’s training includes practical workshops and individual coaching sessions covering time management, cross-functional collaboration and sustainable strategies for change.

The programme focuses on 23 different behavioural changes, offering techniques to support staff in their roles and improve well-being.

Staff are given personalised training to help them apply the course principles to their own situations.

Currently, 23 members of staff have taken part in the 8-week programme, with participation from across the university.

Philippe Masson (pictured), CEO, Avilio, said: “The link between happiness and productivity is now well understood.

“We know that if people are happier they are more productive and vice versa.

“In times of change, it’s important to protect happiness and productivity, and give workers individual support to meet their challenges.”

Masson added: “A one-size-fits-all approach to professional training will not work.

“While core principles remain, each individual needs personal support to find what works for them.

“I’m gratified to be able to help Aberystwyth University’s team on this journey and delighted with the positive feedback from their team.”

Sharon Lilley, chief people officer at Aberystwyth University, said: “We are pleased to partner with Avilio.

“Working with them is part of our wider commitment to help improve the wellbeing of every member of staff, so we can deliver the very best outcomes for our students and the University.”
