Mitie achieves Good Business Charter accreditation

Mitie has been accredited as a member of the Good Business Charter, recognising its commitment to responsible business practices.
With 84,000 colleagues working in roles from security to cleaning, Mitie met the Charter’s 10 commitments, including fair tax and care for people and the environment.
The accreditation was marked at a breakfast reception at Mitie’s headquarters in The Shard.
The event was attended by Liam Byrne, Chair of the Business and Trade Committee, Jenny Herrera, CEO of the Good Business Charter and Jason Towse, managing director, business services at Mitie.
Business leaders, policymakers and third parties discussed how the Government and industry can work together to raise standards for workers in the UK and support economic growth.
Mitie has committed to upholding the Charter’s standards and aims to uplift 1 million lives through inclusive employment and helping people build sustainable careers as part of its ‘Plan Thrive’ mission.
