Logistics hub to bring 300 new jobs to Little Hulton
Councillor Teresa Pepper, Lead Member for Skills and Work and Business Support at Salford City Council, said: “Bolt330 will generate fantastic employment opportunities for people in Little Hulton and the surrounding area."
A new logistics hub designed to boost local employment and support businesses needing warehouse space is set to bring up to 300 jobs to Little Hulton.
Bolt330, built on Lester Road by developer Logicor, is now on the market and ready for businesses to move in.
The unit covers 331,000 square feet, with 32 dock loading doors, 48 HGV parking spaces, and 326 vehicle parking spaces.
Councillor Teresa Pepper, Lead Member for Skills and Work and Business Support at Salford City Council, said: “We are delighted that Logicor has worked with Salford City Council to develop the Bolt330 light industrial and logistics unit.
“It offers a prime space for a business that requires logistics infrastructure and that will generate fantastic employment opportunities for people in Little Hulton and the surrounding area.
“We work hard to make sure that developments benefit local people and they are able to capitalise from the growth that is happening in their community.”
Pepper added: “Social value opportunities have also been created during the construction phase of the building and this is set to continue when it officially opens for business.
“These include entering into partnerships with local employment groups, supporting placement for college students and making college visits, and working with local charity and community groups such as St Anne’s Hospice and Community Little Hulton.”
