Notify Technology has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered software for analysing workplace accidents. 

Notify Spark uses AI to speed up accident reports and investigations, aiming to improve root cause analysis and turn incident data into insights firms can use.

The product draws on Notify’s large data set and can generate safety briefings, executive summaries and toolbox talks following accident investigations. 

More than 912,000 incidents, including accidents, injuries, near misses and hazards, have been logged on the platform over five years. 

Incident analysis is the initial AI-powered module to go live, with plans to extend AI to risk assessments, method statements, audits and inspections.

Notify, based in Newcastle, recently secured £1.5m for the rollout of AI, backed by Mercia Ventures, the North East Fund, Calculus Capital and private investors.
