HubStar acquires Spica Technologies to streamline hybrid workplace management

HubStar has acquired Spica Technologies in a deal aimed at speeding up the move to smarter, people-focused hybrid workplaces. 

The deal brings together HubStar’s artificial intelligence (AI)-driven planning and employee engagement tools with Spica’s workplace experience and IoT technology, offering a single platform for organisations wanting to manage space, costs, emissions and staff needs at the same time.

By joining forces, HubStar and Spica will now provide a unified system that covers workplace experience, operational data and AI-based planning. 

Their combined visitor management will cover everything from pre-registration and access control to lobby check-in and contractor management, all through one platform. 

Customers can now bring separate workplace systems under one roof, speed up results and keep their real estate plans in line with what hybrid teams need.
