WineGB launches Hiring Toolkit to support wine industry recruitment
The hiring toolkit is aimed at anyone involved in hiring, training or supporting people in the wine sector.
WineGB has launched a Hiring Toolkit aimed at helping vineyards and wineries across England and Wales recruit and manage staff more effectively.
The hiring toolkit is aimed at anyone involved in hiring, training or supporting people in the wine sector.
It covers small producers and larger businesses.
The pack includes templates for agreements, code of conduct, policies, checklists, tips for keeping staff and a list of resources to help with hiring.
There are also case studies, information on good practice, and research on recruitment and workers in the industry.
WineGB said the toolkit is mainly for smaller producers or those without HR teams or time to make these resources.
The pack also highlights the latest employment data from the English and Welsh wine industry.
By 2028, 90% of respondents to the WineGB industry survey expect to increase full-time positions, which would mean a 21% rise.
