SureCam launches mobile app to support AI-powered driver coaching
SureCam has released a mobile app designed to improve road safety and automate coaching workflows for fleet drivers using AI video telematics.
SureCam has launched a new mobile app as part of its AI-powered coaching system, aiming to help fleet drivers improve their performance and reduce risky behaviour on the road.
The app offers personalised feedback and automated workflows to simplify and streamline the process of driver coaching.
The app forms part of SureCam’s broader AI video telematics solution and allows for targeted coaching responses based on the type, severity and frequency of driving incidents. Fleet managers can configure the app to deliver tailored communications – from initial warnings for minor infractions to mandatory training videos or in-person coaching sessions for repeat offences.
“Drivers can also access their footage, give feedback via two-way messaging, and view their performance score benchmarked against peers.
John Weldon, president of SureCam, said: “Our coaching system has transformed how fleets use the footage and data generated by AI video telematics.
“It is eliminating up to 70% of vehicle alerts, and with the introduction of our mobile app, we can free up even more time and make the entire process much more manageable.
“This latest innovation will supercharge our AI coaching tool – already proven to cut high-risk driving events in half and dramatically reduce vehicle collisions – by supporting those drivers that need it most.”
All activity and communication through the app will be logged within SureCam’s AI coaching system, giving fleet operators visibility into which coaching assignments have been issued, completed, or are overdue.
