Stellantis unifies UK parts operation with new Ellesmere Port hub
Stellantis UK has opened a new Parts Distribution Centre in Ellesmere Port, centralising operations for 10 brands and supporting next-day delivery across the UK and Ireland.
Stellantis UK has officially opened a new Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) in Ellesmere Port, consolidating its aftermarket parts operation for 10 brands into a single site for the first time.
Located on the former shipping yard adjacent to the company’s electric van factory, the new PDC spans 60,000 square metres and supports the delivery of around four million parts annually.
The facility stocks approximately 140,000 types of parts, covering vehicles up to 10 years old. As part of the Distrigo network, it serves both authorised and independent repairers with genuine parts, SUSTAINera remanufactured parts, and the Eurorepar range.
Parts are sourced, packed and shipped from the PDC to 19 regional Distrigo hubs, which collectively serve almost 1,000 repair sites across the UK and Ireland.
Andy Kite, parts and service director at Stellantis UK, said: “The opening of our new UK Parts Distribution Centre enables us to enhance our aftersales service.
“Its central location offers improved UK coverage and delivery times, with the ability to deliver parts to repairers for the next working day – ensuring the shortest possible wait time for customers.
“With all our brands under one roof, from long-established names like Vauxhall to newer brands like Leapmotor, Stellantis customers benefit from the reassurance of knowing they can quickly access the parts they need.”
The PDC employs 234 staff across two shifts and has already recorded the highest customer satisfaction rating of any Stellantis warehouse.
It is led by Diane Miller, who previously served as plant director at Ellesmere Port, and succeeds Jamie Craig, who has retired after 43 years with the company.
Miller said: “The relocation of our parts operation to Ellesmere Port has been a huge effort by everyone involved, but now ensures a more efficient process by bringing all Stellantis brands under one roof.
“Thanks to the more central location afforded by Ellesmere Port, we also benefit from better transport links for distribution to our 19 regional hubs across the UK and Ireland.
