Virgin Media O2 Business launches Teams Phone Mobile to boost workplace flexibility
The service is available to large businesses, aiming to boost productivity for office and field workers by keeping them connected wherever they are.
Virgin Media O2 Business has started offering Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile, letting business customers move between mobile and desktop Teams calls without interruption.
The service is now available to large businesses, aiming to boost productivity for office and field workers by keeping them connected wherever they are.
With one number or Teams ID, users can make and receive calls over mobile, app, or desktop.
The setup includes mobiles within Teams calling services, so employees can keep their ‘in a call’ status, see call history, and access voicemail on any device.
This makes it easier for employees to access data securely and stay compliant wherever they’re working, according to Virgin Media O2 Business.
The company said businesses could see up to 225% return on investment thanks to better productivity and more streamlined services.
Additionally, organisations can cut costs by consolidating mobile services and moving away from traditional phone systems before they are phased out in 2027.
The setup also includes enterprise security and compliance features.
