Deloitte is set to create hundreds of jobs with four new technology delivery centres opening across the UK.
The centres, part of the firm’s technology and transformation business, will start operating on 1st June 2025 in Belfast, Cardiff, Manchester and Newcastle.
The centres will bring together 750 existing staff, with plans to double headcount to 1,500 within three years.
These teams will work on tasks like app design, cloud engineering, and using artificial intelligence (AI) in software and systems including SAP.
Deloitte will also run multi-year technical training programmes for new staff.
Rob Cullen, managing partner for technology & transformation at Deloitte UK, said: “This new venture reinforces our focus on being the undisputed leader in business transformation and technology, our commitment to digital skills and regional growth, as well as our support to the UK’s wider ambition to be a global technology leader.
“As businesses reimagine themselves in the face of huge changes in technology, our dedicated technology centres represent a significant milestone in how we better serve our clients, delivering leading-edge solutions that are fit for the future.
“This investment accelerates our ambition to become the largest onshore technology capability in the UK.”
