HR Star celebrates decade of female-led success

Ahead of International Women’s Day this weekend, Cheltenham-based HR consultancy HR Star is celebrating its 10-year anniversary as a female-led business.
Founded by Kelly Tucker (pictured) in 2015, the firm has a team predominantly made up of women.
Tucker has received accolades such as Best Businesswoman of the Year at the Best Businesswomen Awards 2024 and HR Professional of the Year at the HR Brilliance Awards 2025.
The consultancy also secured B Corp certification, recognising its social and environmental responsibility.
Beyond running the business, Tucker supports initiatives for women in business.
She will share her experiences at the Cotswold Collective’s International Women’s Day event, discussing supportive workplaces for women, gender equality, balancing career and home life, and encouraging men’s involvement in inclusivity.
Tucker said: “Building HR Star has been an incredible journey, and I’m immensely proud of what we have accomplished.
“Achieving B Corp certification and receiving industry recognition are milestones that reflect the hard work and dedication of our team.
